Description
LOCATION: Papua New Guinea
STORY: “For over a year and a half, I watched the daily drama as tiny fish hid inside the folds of what I believe to be the world’s largest gorgonian sea fan. Predators regularly circle the area, waiting to pick off any stragglers. Here we look down the “V” of a fold containing sleeping nocturnal cardinalfish. Look closely and you can even see many of the males holding clutches of eggs in their mouths. I love the 3-dimensional effect that is created by forcing a radically close perspective with an ultra-wide lens.” –Gug
