STORY: What’s the only thing better than a bright orange cushion starfish in the clear, blue, shallows of the Bahamas? Three starfish!!! Years ago, when I sketched out my concept for a starfish photo, the drawing had a dozen starfish in the sand; in my mind, the more the better. After capturing that image with what turned out to be 15 in the shot, I quickly realized that it was too chaotic, and that less was more. So over the next few days, I sought out compositions that told a quieter story, with one, two, or three – more tranquil; more Bahamas chill
