STORY: “I will ignore the 99.9% of anemones that are tan in color, and seek out the exceptional ones. No, it’s not a nighttime photo – I just angled the strobes very harshly so as to not illuminate the reef below, and it makes the shape of the anemone the prominent feature of the image. They tuck right in to their home, safe & sound, peering out at you in the same way you’re looking at them.” – Gug
