STORY: Ironic, isn’t it? How the most beautiful things, can also be the most painful? For years, I’ve been looking for the perfect moon jellyfish. They’re actually quite common, but finding one with the right size, undamaged by waves or predators, with flawless nematocyst-laden tentacles, and juuuuust a touch of pink…..well, just like when we find love, when it comes jellyfish, we need to be a bit discriminating. There’s a certain, undeniable elegance to the shape and movement of jellyfish, and this nearly-symmetrical view of a quarter of it’s body is the epitome of art in nature.
