LOCATION: Central Florida Springs, USA
STORY BEHIND THE SHOT: While searching for American alligators, I came across an idyllic scene of lily pads at the river’s edge while snorkeling through the springs. The water’s surface and reflections are some of the most powerful artistic components in my arsenal, and while I shot several images with a glassy-calm mirror reflection, I found this shot, with its slight ripples from my exhalation to be the most pleasing and relaxing. And yes, later that day, I found my alligator.
